Lack of tolerance in your relationship
Do you experience lack
of tolerance in your relationship? If yes, then, it is one of the major reason
there are problems in your relationship. Let look at a fine definition of
tolerance; the act of putting up with somebody or something irritating or
otherwise unpleasant (Encarta dictionary 2009 ed). With this definition, it is
now clear the actual meaning of tolerance as related to relationship. The
absence of it causes constant misunderstanding between you and your partner.
When there is constant misunderstanding between the both of you, there will be
less fun in the relationship. Now, how does tolerance work?
The truth is that no
one is perfect and this is one reason you have to learn on how to put up with
somebody’s irritating characters. Mind you, some of the things you tag
irritating may not seem so to another person, so, you may not blame your
partner for such irritating character(s). This claim supports the fact that one
man’s meat is another man’s poison. I must inform you that you may be guilty of
such offense or even the one worst than it. The offense I refer to here may be
that offense you find difficult to tolerate in your partner.
If you love him or her
so much, the best you can do is always over look those irritating things and
hold on to those things that makes you love him or her so much. The fact is
tolerance in relationships will enhance love and with time such irritating
things in your partner’s life may varnish because love covers all. Never expect
your partner to be perfect but expect him or her to be loveable, you know what
I mean?
If you find it fun
nagging at every irritating character displayed by your partner, you should
bear it in mind that you may be guilty of such offense some day and will you be
happy if you are treated the same way you treated your partner when he or she
acted otherwise? Some people find it difficult to forgive their partner, it is
so wrong. Learn to easily forgive your partner no matter what, learn to
tolerate and move on. Love is bigger than all irritating characters, why not
keep loving? In one of my next posts, I will be teaching you how to tell your
partner about some of the irritating characters that you don’t like but he or
she possesses them. There are best ways to say them and keep the love rocking!
