WHAT WOMEN SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MEN
“He
is such a spend rift”
“He finds it difficult saving”
That’s
what most ladies complain about their partners, although this is not applicable
to all men but 70% of men are extravagant. (My personal observations and opinion
please)
They
begin to feel like spending immediately they earn their monthly or weekly
salary; whatever the future holds after then is not their business.
Financial
management is an important aspect of a relationship, if not properly handled
can become a big challenge. Men see money as “what should be spent now” and no
moment should pass-by without the money being spent.
Then
the lady begins to complain that he doesn’t care about the future, he doesn’t
have monetary plans.
Have
you ever wondered why they are the way they are? It almost looks like all men
are the same.
“Why
does he have to spend and later, he starts asking me to help him with a little
money and he will pay back”
“Does
he think I have an account with the central bank” the lady says.
Yes,
they believe you have a “management account” with your brain bank which they
cannot deny, although it’s still not applicable to all women.
It
is high time women understood their role as relationship and money manager.
A
male friend of mine told me one time that he would want to get married to a
woman who knows how to save and has a foresight.
Then
I asked him:
“What
then will you do as the man if she does all that”?
He
gave me a brief rundown of what his mother use to do when his father begins to
spend more than necessary. As long as his father keeps giving his mother money
to buy things, she keeps collecting and saving for the dry day which is usually
not far from the rainy day.
Some
women will ask:
“How
will I help him save when I don’t know how to get the money”?
These
are little tips of how to keep that money from flying away to the pocket of
that man who sells appliances.
1. Make him have a budget booklet
2. Plan how to spend the money before he is
paid.
3. Make him put down every expenses made in
the budget booklet.
Men
are very funny beings who can spend without realizing how much it has cost
them. That’s why when a man goes to the market he is likely going to return
home with the least important things and yet say the money was not enough.
Making
a man keep a budget booklet is not so easy to achieve, but when he finally
learns how to use it, he will appreciate you for it. They are very good at
forgetting things and a budget booklet will help keep him in check.
It’s
expected that a woman should know how much her partner earns as long as they
are planning to get married. This is because when you as the woman have full
ideal of how much your man earns, you will be able to become a better manager
and a planner…If your man earns monthly and he pays his house rent yearly, the
best practice you both can engage in is to start saving smaller portion of the
monthly salary each month.
You shouldn’t wait until it is about to get to the
month of the house rent payment before you both starting squeezing out the
house rent…no, it doesn’t work that way. By the time you start saving every
month from the salary, you will notice that two or even three months before the
payment of the house rent, you both might have raised the house rent bill.
Remember
that in doing this let all the withdrawals are pen down to avoid forgetting
that certain bill has been made available. Bear in mind that it’s only through
good and effective communication between you and your partner that all these
