Steps you two must take before marriage
Saturday by Unknown
This
post is the continuation of the first last post I wrote on steps you must take
before marriage/relationship. (Click here to read it). Below are the remaining steps
you and your partner must take before you both get married in order to avoid early
break up:
1. Financial
testing step
This
step is very important too. I have come to find out that one of the leading problems couples encounter
in marriage is financial related arguments. This is usually on the issue of
money spent, who spends more, who spends what and should there be joint
account? All these financial related issues can break a home or generate
unhappy marriage. This is why you and your partner must ensure that financial
issues are sorted out before marriage. Different working financial strategies
must be tested by you and your partner before you both go in to marriage.
For
instance, a friend of mine told me that he and his fiancée had to try different
format of managing money together and they finally arrived at each other
managing their own separate money but should remain accountable to each other.
Find out the best format for you and your partner.
2. Number
of children test
You
and your partner must argue and agree on the number of children you both desire
and wishes. This will help to prevent the usual verbal abuse partners usually
engage in especially in Africa when excess children are given birth to.
For
instance, I will love to have just two children or at most three….what about
you?
Well,
I have come to the end of this particular post and in one of my next posts, I
will continue on the topic. Remember that these steps are very important for
you to go through before you and your partner decides to say YES….Kindly share
this post if you really read it.
