Reasons to be in a relationship
Thursday by Unknown
In the last two posts
I did about reasons to be in a relationship, I mentioned companionship and
happiness to be the two out of the three reasons people want to go into love
relationship. This is the final post on the reasons to be in a relationship. If
you haven’t read the first two posts on the reasons to be in a relationship,
please, kindly read them up: Reasons to be in a relationship.
The final reason
people go into relationship is
to have a helper. I interviewed many people and they all mentioned a helping mate as one of the reasons they are or wish to be in a relationship. Remember that the reason for these series of posts on reasons to be in a relationship is to help you determine if the 3 major reasons which pushed into that relationship are met, if they are not met then, there is the need for you to adjust your relationship.

3. To get a Helper
Encarter dictionary
defined helper as someone who assists you in official or voluntary capacity.
This implies that your partner is meant to be a helper even in official
settings. People who really understand what it takes to be in a relationship
will testify to this. A helping mate is very necessary for your existence as a
human being.
There are sometimes
you won’t have the chance to do some things, it is your partner who is meant to
help you carry out those functions. The same goes to you too: you are meant to
serve as a helper to your partner. Just imagine you living alone and doing all
the necessary things for survival on this earth all by yourself. It is not possible, you can’t
achieve all your major desires if there is no one to help you.
The truth remains that you can only get a true helper from someone who shares similar goals with you, someone who sees you as part of him/her, someone who doesn’t feel disturbed no matter the amount of help he/she renders to you and that person can only come from your partner. Don't forget that humans are naturally selfish and people usually don't see much of a task helping their partner selflessly because they feel that their partner is part of them, are you with me?. Remember an important part of the definition of a helper which has to do with voluntary: meaning that you and your partner must help each other achieve the individual and collective dreams together voluntarily. There shouldn’t be force or push but the zeal and willingness must come naturally.

As I have said in
most of my posts about true love and the qualities of true love, these reasons
people go into relationship must be carried out in two-way model-meaning that
it must come from you to your partner and from your partner to you. It does not
look at who does it first but naturally come to existence. I have come to the
end of the series of posts on the 3 reasons to be in a relationship. Please, do
