Love Poem (11)
Friday by Unknown
Where is
love?
I have
looked for you for decades
I have
only seen you in the world of dreams,
In the
world of literature, in the world of novels
I have
not seen you here were humans occupy
You seem
so far from many of us
But you
are desired by all, but hard to come by
I have
prayed of you, I have written letters of proposals
Just to meet
you but distance separates you and I
Many who
thought they have found you only found your shadow
For millions
have died because of you
Millions
have lived because of you
You dominate
the movie world, you dominate our closet thoughts
You live
like a king and drive on golden horses
We
travel miles to search for you
We all
long for you…love, oh love
Where are
you?
Every
minute I wonder when our paths shall cross
For I
shall embrace you and secure you till eternity!
For I
will not lose you-NEVER!
Love,
you are like the wind, you blow whenever you wish
We only
hear of you, reads of you and feel your presence around
But we
can’t really call you ours
for you can fly off from our arms
and leave us heartbroken
with our tears running down like water pump
Where are
you LOVE?
I want
you around just the like I want my air
I need
you just the way I need life
I’m sure
your presence cometh with joy
I’m sure
your presence cometh with internal satisfaction
For I
can pay any prize to own you
Where are
you LOVE?
