Why most Relationships don’t work out part 2

This post is the continuation of the last post on why most relationships don’t work out. In the first part of this post: why most relationships don’t work out, I mentioned three points (read, why most relationships don’t work out) so, you can understand what I was talking about. In this post, the following are some of the reasons most relationships don’t work out:
4. Selfishness and Bias mindset

Human beings are loaded and governed by selfishness and bias mindset. In fact, this is what I strongly believe is the major reason most relationships don’t work out. Everyone has something to protect. This is why people usually say: “after all I did for him/her…” immediately they broke up. No one wants to be selfless and everyone wants to portray arguments to suit his/her own taste.

No one is willing to give up his/her own personal gains and everyone is looking at how to act in their relationships so that they will not stand to lose everything at the end of it. This mindset already means that such relationship will not work out. While solving relationship problems or issues, the parties involve since they are humans will surely put the argument to favour them.

This was why I said in the beginning of why most relationship don’t work out (part1), that: “no one wants to take the blame…” People will know the logic behind a major relationship problem but they will still try to turn the table around to suit them. Selfishness and bias mindset are killing most relationships of today.

5. Modernization
I also believe that the concept of modernization has really killed many relationships. People are no longer obeying the real principle of love relationship. Most people just want to join the majority. That is the concept of spiral of silence theory. It is killing us, it is killing our relationship. The way God made man and woman, He designed the both in a special way to function in certain ways, but what we now see is that most women are now doing what men are meant to do and most men are now playing the role of women or the both genders are combining the two roles to the extreme.

Some ladies calls it exposure but I see it as destruction. They call it right but I call it deceit! Modernization has redefined the way we think and act towards each other. Cheating in relationship is now a common thing. Have you wondered why those in the past enjoyed more stable and cheating free relationships than we are experiencing in the so called modern world.
As for me, what we call modernization is nothing but suffering. Just very few people understand the real basis and those few are the ones enjoying successful relationships.

6. Religion
Humans are still battling with the concept of religion. Humans find it very difficult to obey most of the religious principles. For instance, most religion forbid pre-marital sex between two couple who aren't married yet but in some situations, the two parties may really love each other but the principles guiding their religious practice deny them of fully expressing their love for each other and this in most situations break them apart. Till date, humans still struggle between the flesh and the spirit being-two opposing entities!

7. Economic situation
The present economic situation is killing many relationships. Most women are now marrying money. Many ladies never married whom they really wished to marry simply because the guy couldn’t meet up on time or the lady felt she couldn’t wait any longer. In the past when the economy was friendlier, men succeeded faster than now. The cost of managing love relationship is becoming more and more expensive every day.

8. Marriage business
In most African countries for instance in Nigeria, marriage is now a means through which people make cash and the victims spend lots of cash. You see, in most part of Nigeria, the cost of embarking into marriage is too high and most men can’t really meet up and those who found each other in maybe  in colleges end up not marrying. What does this mean? It simply means that relationships are crashing to a point where almost everybody in the world will finally say: “love does not exist.”

I hope you gained from this post: why most relationships don’t work out. I wish you all the best in your various relationships. Try and remove selfishness and bias judgment in your relationship, remove materialism and focus on love for each other, forget the concept of societal status, appreciate what you have and do with it, give it all, apologize when you wrong and even if you didn’t wrong your partner. I think with all these, you are likely going to make your relationship work out
